Winter 4×4 Jamboree is an annual off-road event held in January. The event is sponsored by the Desert Roads and Trails Society. Come get out of the snow and cold and come to sunny Hurricane, Utah to visit the Hurricane Sand Dunes and Sand Hollow State Park!
Winter 4×4 Jamboree is organized and run by some very dedicated volunteers from the non-profit 501(c)(3) Desert Roads and Trails Society (Desert RATS) with significant assistance from the Utah Public Lands Alliance (UPLA) and others. All proceeds from the event are donated. We usually donate to UPLA, Utah 4 Wheel Drive Association, Washington County Search and Rescue and Share Trails/Blue Ribbon Coalition. In 2021, we donated $55,000 and contributed to the new staging area going in at the water tanks near Sand Hollow. These organizations work tirelessly for you to keep our trails open and available to our sport. Washington County Search and Rescue has an ongoing presence during the Jamboree – and we really appreciate them!
